By using the Mawtin app or mawtin.app, you agree to these terms.
The service
Mawtin is an app operated by Cyberserv FZC (United Arab Emirates). It organizes information published on official Canadian websites into a personal plan for newcomers.
Not legal or immigration advice
We work to keep content accurate and up to date and review it regularly, but we cannot guarantee it is error-free or fits your specific situation.
Your account
You can use the app without an email address. If you link your email, you are responsible for keeping the sign-in codes sent to you private. You must be 18 or older to create a plan.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service for anything unlawful.
- Do not try to access other users’ data or disrupt the service.
- Do not copy or republish the content for commercial purposes without written permission.
Subscriptions and payments
Some or all Mawtin features may be paid. We show the price and terms clearly before any purchase. Payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their policies, including renewal, cancellation and refunds.
Intellectual property
The app, its design, written content and brand belong to Cyberserv FZC. Linked government information remains the property of its owners, and we credit the source in every step.
Your responsibility
- You are responsible for your decisions and for following your own deadlines and requirements with official bodies, and for checking them at the official source.
- Your plan is built on the information you enter, and you are responsible for keeping it accurate and up to date. If it is incomplete or wrong, the plan may not fit you.
- Approval of any application is decided only by the official body, and we do not guarantee the outcome of any application.
Links and third-party websites
We link to government and other websites that we do not own or control, and we are not responsible for their content or updates.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any express or implied warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cyberserv FZC and its team are not liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from using the app, relying on its information or being unable to use it, including missed deadlines, refused applications, or delays or changes in official procedures.
If we are nevertheless found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Cyberserv FZC harmless from any claim, loss or cost arising from your misuse of the app, your breach of these terms, or your violation of the rights of others.
Ending use
You can stop using the service and delete your data at any time. We may suspend any account that breaks these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Sharjah, without affecting any mandatory rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
